Great direction to take..especially for the serious rider. For me I'm not sure I would spend that kind on money on one of these and for what I need though. My brakes are acceptable for my use now and if these new EBC pads...which just came yesterday, increase the stopping power.. even 15%, I will move on to other concerns and projects.

Ok, I understand what your saying maybe I was going overboard a bit ;)

Surprisingly they are cheaper in the UK, no rear one's in stock though

I would have preferred R series pads for the rear.  Unfortunately EBC does not offer them.  In all of my research I only searched for EBC.  I wonder if other brands are comparable.  Sometimes I can be close minded.  I think EBC pads are the best because that's what I used in my Motocross days.  For all I know they could be the worst.  I have no basis for comparison.  Does anybody else have opinions on other brands?  I could be very possible that the $3.99 pads from China could outperform my $80 set of EBC's.

The Z8 has such good engine braking that the brakes are used infrequently.  For me the braking system is adequate.  It could be better but, it works.  Just my .02.

On the Perfect Brakes site it shows you can get either the FA651Xs or the FA651Rs. It also shoes you can also get the Xs or the Rs for the front too. On either just type in the part number in the search, then click on PAD at the top and order.

Well, these EBCs gave me about 6-8% better stopping power. They still need some more break-in but at least now I can slide all fours if needed.

I took a few sets of old pads decks to a clutch resurfacing shop here and have got three different materials put on, See what will come of it.
Have you tried the copper reinforced CFmoto pads.
If it has Pistons or Tits you will encounter problems.

No..the price of the high-end CFM pads was a deterrent...lol.

About 42.50 per set. It would take 4 sets to do one vehicle.

4 sets?  They don't sell them as a rear set and a front set they sell them per wheel??

it would only be 3 sets.  The rears do come as a complete kit (1 set does both wheels) and the fronts are bought in left and right sets.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

IDK man...although the rears take the same on both sides, I'll bet you have to buy two sets. I did with EBC anyway.

On the plus side I won't need any brake pads for a long time.

Yeah the fronts on the CFM's are built reversed to each other per side but the rears are the same except the piston side has a small nub that has to end up inside the piston...which by the way on these EBC's is too long to allow the caliper to slide by even fully collapsed. A touch with a grinder or a few swipes with a file takes care of that though. Just reduce it to the same as the CFM's.
