Doors and Skids
« on: March 27, 2016, 09:21:10 AM »
The Boss, AKA my wife, says any SxS I get has to have doors and a skid plate.

I see Rodin makes doors for the Zforce. How do you guys like them?

Also, will an Iron Baltic skid plate without the A arm guards fit a 51.5" machine?

Rodin's doors are top-drawer. Very nice. And the skids should fit no problem as that area is the same for both ex and the 53s.

How do they latch?

They use a latch something like a car door in that you just shut it. Then pull a release lever to open. They are good quality.

I have a set and they are awesome.  Very easy to install.  They bow out a bit to match the curve of the fender flares.  Plus, with the exposed frame on the inside, lots of ideas for storage pouches.

I too am in the market for a skid plate,  have not found one I like yet. Would like to find one that incorporates rock sliders.  My rockers are taking a beating....

Check out iron baltic for skid plates. They do wrap up the sides. Made of thick alum. If you have any questions, they are very good about getting back to you and I can't say enough about how great the people are there. They helped me out with hardware and missing parts from a set I got from an old vendor of theirs. It was easy to see why they dropped him. They made it right with me even though they didn't have to. Sent me everything I needed for the cost of shipping.

Rodin doors are top notch, look great, fit great but keep in mind that the colors of the decals do not exactly match, on my machine the black is glossy and the black on the door is flat also the terquois on mine is alot darker then the terquois on the door but over all it looks great and functions even better.

What is the Part Numer and price for the one from iron baltic ?  I checked out the website and they did not list CFMOTO.
