Deal to good to be true?
« on: March 09, 2018, 12:26:03 PM »
A smaller dealership in my area is selling a new 2017 800ex eps for $9979. When I called my normal dealership to make sure they can do the service work (theyre also a cf moto distributor) even though im buying from another dealership the guy i talked to said that $10k was below even the cost the dealership pays for them.

So should I be skeptical? Im going to look at it tomorrow. Ive read through all the info on here so im pretty confident I know what to look for. Any advise would still help

Just make sure of it's history..and not a demo that's been abused.

Watch out for charges. Shippping, prep, papperwork fees ECT. Some advertise a low price, but nail you fees and charges.

I am in the same boat, i can get a 2017 800 trail for $9500, or a 2017 800 ex for $10100, I would really love to know what the dealers really pay. Did you end up buying it?

Cost is pretty low on these, however with shipping, freight, buld time, other costs involved in running a business all play a part in what the consumer has to pay. Keep in mind, dealerships do not start a business in order to make friends. They have a ton of expenses that cut into their money spent.
I think I have a link in another post but it looks like this..
