CVT normal Temperature

The can has a 4" oiled pre-filter. This filters the CVT and pre-filters the engine intake I still have a Uni on the engine. This might be over kill but I don't thank so. I lost a engine because of a blown stock filter come hell or high that's not happening again.

Thanks. I don't think there is any thing as overkill on the intake. The more filtering the better.

Long as it doesn't become restrictive IMO there is no such thing as overkill with these...or any machine expected to operate in these conditions. Just can't be too carefull - after all, particle ingestion is the #1 killer of these machines. #2 is heat.

I still have a uni filter in the box. The canister filter filters the CVT air and pre-filters the the intake air. Of course the particle separator eliminates 94% or more of all the crap in the air.
