Clutching question
« on: June 07, 2016, 06:37:18 AM »
So I have been reading and reading and reading the posts about clutching.

So here is my situation:

I run stock tires,  i notice sometimes that it looses some power when going up steep inclines or out of some turns, almost like it should downshift but doesn't.

I am reading about the B2 setting and I think that is what I want.

So can the people who messed with these settings, recommend what would be best.

Thanks,

B2 with the stock 25gram rollers is where you want it. On the primary, going to sliders over rollers is a noticeable improvement across the range and using a slightly lower weight..say 23/24 gram will improve back or down shifting even more but you may want to go up one on the secondary to C1. But for now, yes, you will be very happy with what you get from the B2. This is where many of us think the factory should have set them in the first place.

If this was my buddies machine I'd have complete confidence in doing this for him, but when it comes to my own....I turn chicken, thinking it works fine the way it is... All I want is 24g sliders and B2 or as NMKawierider said C1 setting.
Like you flipper, running stock tires, just want that little extra "umph"

You will be amazed at what a difference either C1 or B2 makes. It won't be the same machine at all compared to B1. Well worth the effort.
