Do these machines eat one-way bearings. I have gone through 2 in 1500 miles.

I've heard about a few coming apart because of manufacturing defects but none from just wear....yet anyway. I'm almost a thousand miles and no issues. What is it that's happening to yours? I guess if the alignment wasn't right it would play hell on it such as one of the bearings was bad or the cover was warped...or it just wasn't installed right.

I know the one way bearing is used for engine braking when going down hills. Well mine lets go when going down hill making a horrible noise. I took it to the dealer once already and it got better but now getting worse again. I am going to take it back and get them to change it again. I was just wanting to know if this is a known problem.

What problems are you having with the one way bearing ? they can make a chattering noise on low rpm and low speed when cold, where there isn't enough load to keep it engaged properly, is the oil feed to the one way bearing in the crank blocked ?

The only thing that could "eat" the one way is if the "drum" around the wet clutch was bent or the shaft attached to the that drum.  Its an easy part to replace though and if your into the one way its literally the next part you would pull off.  I would be looking at that part VERY strongly if you are constantly having one way issues.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

Yeah just replace that whole mess. Can't cost that much.
