Welcome. You don't "Kit" these other then change the primary rollers/sliders to different weights to tune shiftout.shiftback and fine tune the powerband after reclocking the secondary. As for the secondary, unlike many others that use the compression of a spring to give resistance, the secondary's on these uses one spring that is pinned or anchored on each end and is preloaded with a certain amount of twist as it is assembled that offers that resistance in a twisting action. We call this "Clocking". There are several holes on either end and one side is 1-4 and the other is A-D. We have a how to on doing this with videos.  This is the chart, and yes, with 30s you will need B2...possibly one higher if you mud a lot and might consider 24 or 23 gram sliders in the primary.

The rollers are 30x18 and stock weight is 25g. You can just get plain round ones (pretty cheap) the same size in a different weight or get a set of Dr. Pulley sliders #3018 in what ever weight you like. Ebay has plenty of them, search by size or the DR. pulley #
2013 Z6 Trail
Iron Baltic skid plates
UE Boom Speaker mount
RZR 800 Shocks
Mostly stock trail riding
25g. Rollers and A1

Too new for mods yet

My gut says if you mostly trail with average mud about 20% of the time the B2 with 23-24gram sliders or rollers will probably be OK. However if you are going for the deep, thick stuff most of the time, you may want to try the A2 position with the same roller/sliders. You can always start off with the stock 25gram rollers and change them later if needed. Step #1 is getting the secondary set for the load, then step#2 is adjust and fine tune the shiftout & backshift with different primary weights...if necessary of course.

Know however like any CVT system, these adjustment to add low end,.. will cost you top end.

I use C4 and I think it feels the way it should feel stock. Stock clutching is for low RPM, not power. I plan to go lighter on weights later. I also lowered my gearing. I used a shim first, but that failed pretty quickly. You can see my thread about how I fixed it to see what I have now.

Man I gota tell you I tried to rotate it to set on the ramps on B4 with a 24" pipe wrench and almost could not do it. I can not imagine what it would take to rotate it 120 degrees for C4 and how in the heck the primary could ever generate enough force to ever shift it out with that much spring pressure....and how that could feel "Normal" to you.... Your top speed has to be under.. what...25mph.

but just a quick question! i have been trying my tires today and the machine feels a bit "slugish" the "clocking" is that only for more grip to the belt or how does it work?

"Clocking" is setting the preload of the secondary spring resistance to match..or closer match the load requirements. It's like lowering your gear ratios to closer match the power-to-weight ratios needed to optimize performance. When you add more load to the engine with more weight or larger or heavier tires, you need to adjust the ratios. Its just that simple. Increased secondary resistance means the primary had to generate more force on the belt to part the secondary. That requires more RPMs. So the engine will and must run at higher RPMs to get the same speed as before but it is closer to its power bands (HP & Torque) then with lighter setting. You will loose some top end to gain more low end. That's the trade-off.
