Over Drive.
Maybe there is some inconsistency in these springs. The first time I set mine, I had my brother help me hold the pulley and turn it. I couldn't do it myself. When I had it apart to fix the cam plate, I took the secondary apart to grease it. That time I did it myself. It didn't seem like it had to turn as far this time or was as hard to turn. I wonder if the spring stretched or something.
My top end did suffer. But, I expected that. With my C4 setting and shim along with my big heavy tires, I got it up to 54 MPH. The larger tires throw off the speedo a little. I was probably doing closer to 60. 54 is as fast as I ever need to go around here, even on the back roads. I probably never get over 20 on the trails. I like the tires for playing in the mud holes, but I mostly ride rough trails. I need the low gearing to move the big tires through the rough stuff and deep mud.
