I tried to order the 24 gram OD weights from the guy on ebay.  They are all out so i bought the 25 gram ones (hoping they are in stock like ebay says).  I ill update everyone when they show up.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

Probably a stupid question but..what does "OD" stand for?

Over Drive.

Maybe there is some inconsistency in these springs. The first time I set mine, I had my brother help me hold the pulley and turn it. I couldn't do it myself. When I had it apart to fix the cam plate, I took the secondary apart to grease it. That time I did it myself. It didn't seem like it had to turn as far this time or was as hard to turn. I wonder if the spring stretched or something.

My top end did suffer. But, I expected that. With my C4 setting and shim along with my big heavy tires, I got it up to 54 MPH. The larger tires throw off the speedo a little. I was probably doing closer to 60. 54 is as fast as I ever need to go around here, even on the back roads. I probably never get over 20 on the trails. I like the tires for playing in the mud holes, but I mostly ride rough trails. I need the low gearing to move the big tires through the rough stuff and deep mud.

Cleaned my uni air filter, took out the top half windshield. Still 55mph top speed.  Maybe it's the back window making a parachute effect. Like my wife says that's fast enough. I agree just wondering if there is something not working correctly or if I don't have the distance to get to that speed. Guess either way this really is fast enough. 3,5,8 mph crawling through the rocks and trails roaring 20mph in the trails lol. So.... I'd still like to know it will go faster lol. Would like the 24g sliders and the B2 .....I think.

I forget if you can put any anywhere but I am real sure you never want to put anything on the ramps or pads that will collect dust and/or dry out. I do put a little dry lube (graphite) on those but that's it. As for the spindle or hub...I don't remember but I don't think there are seals there so if not...better not.

I just put a very thin coat on the tube part where the sheave slides, so it wouldn't bind. I don't think it will be a problem.

Just keep in mind that if there is any way it can migrate up to the belt, and centrifugal force is really good at that, it will cause slippage at some point, usually where the load exceeds the friction level of the belt-to-sheave contact, and reduce your top end. If that ever happens, look for an odd, usualy dark discoloration zone on the clutch. It does waste the belt so plan on a new one if it happens. It starts-out looking like this:

I considered that possibility. I used a very thin coat. I don't think it will be enough to get to the belt. If it does, I guess I'll know better next time. It just seemed like it wasn't working as good as it could. I thought a little friction reduction would help.

Ok guys WTF yesterday I fooled around with the clutch and I tried different settings here is what i guess I found out lol 1st I installed 23g sliders with new gates belt I took it easy cruised and then I floored it rpms were low ? And felt slow even at take off felt slow ? So the. I took it all apart agian and went with factory rollers and new belt. What a difference rpms were higher take off was quicker and more top end ? Now I thought that sliders were supposed to make you launch faster right ? Ok so today I'll be trying 24sliders with new belt and see how that feels and if I don't like it I'll try with stock belt maybe it's he belt? It don't look bad any thoughts ? On yea I'm on b2

Are you real sure you didn't get some or all the sliders in backwards? It is possible and it will partly close the primary making it feel like you are taking off in like 2nd gear on a car. Look at the secondary. The belt should ride above the top about an 1/8". If its low, something is wrong with the primary or the belt is too short.

Maybe the belt got pinched when you put it back together. Did you give it a spin after you got it together.

I think I did lol don't remember I was on my 4th or 5th Miller lite by the time I was putting it back together trying not to get pissed off from busting my knuckles working on this thing. Swear this has to be the hardest clutch cover to take off I have ever worked on. 👎
