2015 z800 ex. Starter will not crank over unless I take all tension off the throttle. Starter is brand new. I have also tested the tps and verified .44 at idle and 4.4 at max. I'm think at this point it's internal. Have new cam chains and head/top ends on both cylinders. My gut is crank bearing but not sure why the throttle would make that problem go away. I have tested the injectors as well. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

That's strange. The starter and the throttle have nothing to do with each other's operation. But..if you are saying that it still spins but it but just won't start unless the throttle stop is backed-off, then best look at the idle air valve aka iav.  It's built into the TB from what I hear...like the TPS. Or it's up there somewhere.

Are saying that the starter won't spin, or the starter isn't strong enough to turn over the engine?

How old is the battery?

I thought it was just me. It definitely makes it a nicer forum when people do a follow up. I'm a member on a corvette forum, and those guys are a real brotherhood. They don't leave you hanging. They always follow up.
