Have any of you guys added a lift kit to your Z yet? Was out yesterday for quite a tour and was doing just a crap load of scraping. Seems like I dont have near the clearance I'm used to. If anyone has put a lift kit on, would you share where you got it, part numbers, was it hard to install, was it costly?
Thanking you in Advance.

Hey mayor hal,

It just so happens that our new vendor, SuperATV, offers a 2" lift.  I've got one coming right now and I'll be installing it this week so I'll report back ASAP.

They're the only place I know of in the U.S. that offers a lift kit as of now.  Here's the link to it:  http://www.superatv.com/CFMOTO-ZForce-800EX-2-Lift-Kit-P13126C1745.aspx

One thing to remember though...that lift is for the EX with the long a-arms. It may not work for our 53s with the short a-arms. It will just be a re-locate for the shock and may work fine but will it make the CV angles too much for the 53s...that is the big question.

Very true....definitely don't want to put the CV joints in a bind or you'd be buying new parts left and right.  I'm sure Tyler could help you with some additional information if you have questions.  His forum username is SuperATV.

Jason give us a heads up on how you like the lift. I'm waiting for someone to make a big 5-8 inch lift but I'll settle for 2 for now if it's good.

In most cases anything over a 2" usually requires longer a-arms and axles. Those can run some big money. Might be worth getting the 2", then slap some 28s or 29s, then deal with the necessary clutch mods to turn them.

I watched your latest video as well ACIDICJO.  Your new wheel/tire combo is awesome.

I was thinking of buying that lift kit from SuperATV but after looking at the installation instructions I realized the kit is just 4 spring spacers that go between the top of the shocks and springs, so for a two inch lift you have to sacrifice ride quality. That being said though the spacers do not change geometry so they can be used on the 53". I have a 2014 ZFORCE 800 EX and just put 28" mongrels on it with stock height, I have no clearance issues.
I set my preload on the front at 1-1/4" from top end of threads to top of lock nut, on the rear it is set at 1-3/4". plenty of room for tires and also a nice ride with two people.

Doesn't the super ATV lift put more stress on the shocks?  Why not get a 2 inch drop bracket for the shocks to achieve the same distance?
