The parts suppliers also show two part numbers. I can only assume its is because of brake ratio. 60/40 I believe so that would require a larger pad on front then in rear even though the ratio-ing is partly done in the proportioning valve or master cylinder, the size is also a factor on many 4w disk brake systems. That's just my guess though.

Pads preformed well! Better braking then the stock pads ever had and at $14 bucks shipped for both side's, I'm going to order a 2nd set to keep ready on the shelf.
Really good news as mine have always sucked..however at 560 miles my pads still look pretty good. Might replace them anyway just to get better stopping power. As is almost have to use both feet to get it to stop...almost. When I drove my friend's RzR I hit the brakes like mine and almost put me over the steering wheel..would like to have something more like that...which would be more normal.

Can you post links to these sets?  Thanks

Yep :)

the EBC are not that expensive.  The fronts are around $25-$30 a set and the rear are about 30 a set. The FA651 seems to cross over with a Suzuki XN85 Turbo

Yep and EBC makes a good pad also I just figure if I'm going to be burning through a set every five or six hundred miles then I'll just keep putting on these $7 aside ones :)

Well I just noticed 90% of my rear pads were gone and only about 10% of the fronts are gone. That explains why I have such sh*ty brakes...it's only stopping with the rears. And I only have 575 miles on it. So I just ordered a set of these cheap pads and will get to the bottom of this brake issue. You would think these would be proportioned like any other vehicle..60% front and 40% rear so the fronts should go first...but NOoooooo  :)

I had a little time this evening and put the 800 on jack stands and checked the front and rear brakes.  Mine are just the opposite, front brakes are almost gone, rear brakes seem to have a little life left in them as the pictures below show.  750 miles btw.

So the two ebay links above will take care of the fronts and rear?  For $14 bucks, I'm going to try them out as well.

Yeah. I'm trusting they do fit the ZForce. Nighthawk says they fit perfect. I understood that it was 7 bucks per set so 2 sets per end is what I ordered. That's about 30 bucks for the full set. My rears are slightly worse then your fronts. Looks like you do more mud then I do though. Funny that my Kawasaki has over 4600 miles on it's pads and they have more then 50% left.

qwingo12, let me ask you a question. On yours when you hit the brakes, does the front drop down like a car's? See mine doesn't...feels like I only have rear brakes and almost need to get two feet on the peddle sometimes. Now the wear is showing that might be true. Think I got a bad master cylinder.

Yes...Usually when I go out, mud is involved.  I don't have a lot of places (atv parks) close to where I am...just a couple within a hour drive and they're nothing special, so me a a few guys ride on private property and we always seem to find mud.

To be honest, I never really have to get on the brakes that hard to notice.  However, a few weeks back, a friend wanted to do some time trials on, his 800 rzr against my Z800.  On three passes, I got on the brakes hard because there was not a lot of room past finish line.  Front end did dip.  But again, I've driven a couple different rzrs and our z800s don't come close to the stopping power they have.  Those noses WILL dip...Never been a fan of the brakes since I picked them up.

Still think I need to change out the brake fluid...but I've never done it or had to bleed brakes before.

Just to be clear, the 2 different part numbers I used were for the fronts.
The front left uses a different part number then the right front.
They've held up well so far. My rears are getting down there pretty good and I need to get some ordered.

There small pads up front, same pads the ltr 450 uses . And we're talkin about them stopping a big heavy sxs.
I'm ok with the wear as its exspected

One is for the rears and the other is for the fronts. Says it in the description. After reading it a second tome you may well get a full set for the rear and front for that price..hard to believe. If so, I have two full sets coming. As fast as these go through them its probably a good thing.

I may have ordered the last set...
Said they had 4 sets and 3 had been sold
Don't need them yet, Literally have 2 miles on my machine. However, good to have on hand, current topic, don't need to search for part numbers and compatibility

I just put new pads on my Z600 from ebay store central.part $31.00 free shipping (full set front and back); looks like they have them for Z800 2014/15's

Only been out 5 miles on them but a nice difference so far (but no real mud or water yet)..

Replaced my pads tonight. About 650 miles on them, not much left on 3 pads, and the 4th just barely completely gone on one end.
Hard miles, loaded down, stop and go, mudd, and alot of coal+shale.

$14 bucks for both front sides, shipped on ebay from Sixty. Seem to be decent pads. Part numbers are fa135 and fa165.
They cross reference to alot of machines,  same pads the Suzuki ltr 450 uses up front, so there pretty easy to find. For the price I just don't think you can go wrong.
Will be out riding Saturday,  I'll report back.

This is what I was confused about...even though the description says front or rear...The two part numbers were for Left Front and Right Front....even though it says rear, part number didn't match up to what others had said regarding part numbers.

So Nightstalker just changed his front pads with?.?.?

I was wanting to do all four wheels while I was making the mess.
