Body pins
« on: August 04, 2016, 07:17:14 PM »
Can someone tell me how to remove the plastic pins that hold a lot of the panels together without destroying them . I know that you are suppose to remove the centre then pull them out ,so far I have managed to get one out and not totally ruin it .

Use push pin plyers. You can get then several places including Harbor Freight. They look like this but come in lots of styles and angles:

When you need replacements, these work pretty good. The heads are a little larger and rounded and the shanks are .25mm larger but they work fine.

Thanks I think it would be worth buying the pliers  , because we all know I will be removing panels from time to time

Yes, a must have...along with about three bags of push pins. I have four different kinds of P.P. plyers but I always grab this one first.

I use these mini cutters, the shape and curve of the cutting end gets under the head and lifts the center up very easily.

I just use side cuts also.  I may pick up some push pin pliers also but I have never had a problem just using the side cuts either.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

They still have them. They're $9.99.  Think I'll stop and pick up a pair.
