No...other then consider everything is moving in different directions sometimes and foil may not take it for long. I took long strips of 3"x3" memory foam from an old mattress topper and filled the gap between the...well..the entire front clip and fire wall. Have to go all the way from the bottom of one side fender to the bottom of the other all the way across to seal all the places heat can get through. Then you still have the hole where the steering shaft goes through and the open hole into the center tunnel to deal with. But...it's worth it...and in winter I take out the top piece and let the radiator heat come in. There's a write-up in the How To section somewhere.

My main problem is I get moisture build up in my display.  This makes the second one dealer installed.   So I'm trying mainly to seal that off first.  I thought about taking some of the insulation I was talking about and putting in the hole right behind the display itself and seeling with foil tape.

Oh...I thought it was the heat...well, try anything.

It's all good.  I just didn't want to burn up the display if I insulated behind it so close.
