I am adding a couple of LED light bars, an inside dome light and eventually a stereo.
I haven't started yet, but it seems that the Roll Cage is not a viable electrical ground, at least not on my machine.  Is this really the case or is mine just an exception. I guess I can just run an additional wire(s) for the ground portion of the circuit, but I want to keep everything as simple as possible.
Has anyone else tried to use the Roll Cage as a ground?

All my lights are grounded to the cage. It's just bolted to the frame so..no issue. Now of yours is messing the ground strap from the frame to the engine..that might be a problem. Main battery ground is connected to the engine so the frame and systems commons must get back to it.

Thanks NMK,  Turns out that I had a broken wire on my multi-meter test lead.  Just another good reason to always double check yourself when doing electrical work on any vehicle.
