Back to the dealer

So I recently had an issue with a belt smell and the clutch cover getting very hot. Also have had it stall on me 5-10 times coming off idle.  I have taken it in to the dealer since it is under warranty still, this is the time to bitch and complain and make known issues known to the manufacturer, as even if they find nothing the problem will be documented should something happen down the road. We shall see if they come up with anything, took it down Saturday afternoon. I might hear something by today. Though the manager started to feed me a line of crap as soon as I got there saying well if you were running at 50mph for a few miles they are off road machines and not really meant for that.... BS people run these up north for hundreds of miles a day at those speeds that is cruising speed not foot mashed to the floor speeds... Anyway I don't think he knows anything about mechanics as when I asked them to clock the secondary to C1 if they took the secondary off he looked at me like a deer in the headlights and was utterly confused.

So I picked up the machine Saturday. They took the belt cover off and found a bunch of belt dust in the case, tech said he saw no sign of slipping on the clutches and the belt looked good and was within CFM spec. His assumption is the belt dust got blown into the clutch/belt and burnt making the smell. I am skeptical but it never felt like it slipped, at least it is on record with them. The stalling they found nothing as I figured would happen. He said he bumped the idle up a little, but I didn't notice a bump in idle and that wouldn't cause the way it would stall anyway. Sounds like he was blowing smoke there.. I will be sure I bug the hell outta my dealer until my warranty is up lol.

If it is a topic to me with 1300 km listen 2 times screech the strap 1 second but embedded in heavy mud. Actually I hear a small noise like grrrrrr that only does it circulating does not do it accelerating in empty. Rodavia I could not detect from where but increased from 1000 to 1300 km.

sorry my friend I can't understand this one. if anything is happening in heavy mud I would suspect that is the issue and there may not be a problem with the machine. Heavy mud is very hard on a machine. I have not been in any mud deeper than an inch or two.
