So I'm buying a brand new 2021 zforce trail this week and thought id check around a bit more about them. Heard that the EX now comes with Elka's in Canada. Checked the Canadian site and they do list that now the trail has fully adjustable (compression/rebound) shocks but don't say what type. I then found a dealer site here in Canada that states that the front and back are Elka's. Guess I should have checked when I was looking at the machine but was so struck by the new white paint scheme that it slipped my mind. Anyone on here confirm this or is it a mistake on the 2 sites?

Neither ever did in the US and I seriously dough even in Canada the trails have Elkas. I once asked Elka my self and they said they did and do have a special line for CFM in 2014 -16 but at the time stopped making them. They also said if it does not say Elka on the shock, it is not theirs...no matter what it looks like. Meaning...there was some copying in design and some colors by parties that shall remain nameless.

Elka shocks would not fit the established business model for CFMoto, so I can't see it ever happening.
