OK so my starter is crap and I need to replace it... Can anyone tell me is this a hard part to replace and is there any pointers you can share to make the removal and install a little easier? Thanks

Have not done it on one of these yet but can't imagine it any different from other V-twins. Drop the cable, remove the mounting bolts, slide it out, slide the new one in lining up the splines and with some lube on the O-ring, install the bolts and cable..that's about it.

I have both mounting bolts loose.. It's wiggling but I have to take a break my hands are cramped for the dumb angle to get at the damn thing lol... If I removed the air intake black tube that would probably help.  :o

disconnect the battery negative terminal if you didn't already. not fun arcing out the positive battery cable on every piece of metal around.
