Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone has tried and been successful jamming some 6x9 speakers in an enclosure in their rollbar above the seats? I'm thinking about trying and found some 6x9 boxes that are 12inchs x 8.5" x 7" deep and think they may squeeze in provided I can mount them securely.

Anyone tried this?

Guess not. There are some enclosures that hold speakers and the equipment that people put overhead but just speakers...not many I guess.

I am currently installing Boss audio box speakers with 1 5/8 roll bar clamps. They tuck in nicely on rear roof bar above seats.

I was thinking about 6X9 and this route but not sure yet. I friend of mine ordered them.

They have smaller brackets that fit our piping size too.  My buddy said after ordering from amazon contact the seller, Rockville, and email them the invoice asking for the smaller bracket for the 800.

I cut some 3" speakers into the dash and a marine head unit. I also have 4" boss speakers mounted to the cage. I moved the 4x4 switch to acomadate the other speaker
