Has anyone installed them in their 800 trail, and if so how did you do it?  Looks hard to get the the passenger bottom seatbelt bracket

Both of those outsides are a SOB. As I recall I made or used a special bent wrench to get in behind the bracket to hold the bolt. Could have taken off the plastics but at the time it look to be a real PITA. Then..after a while my wife decided she wanted the OE belt back on her side so..one more time.. Grrr. :)

As soon as my local dealer replaces the locked driver side seat belt after only 50 miles, I am going to install a pair of Pro Armor A114220 Black 4-Point Harness. I am planning to leave the stock seat belts in place. I think there may be a way to hide one set behind the seat when you want to use the other ones. I will post pics of what I figure out.

I am looking to do the same.  Just hope the bottom bolts can accommodate the extra bracket.

They can. I had both for a while...

Installed the harnesses after work. Had to remove 4 of the plastic panels to get access to the nuts and washers for where you plug the stock seat belts in. I left the passenger stock seat belt so they have a choice. I just cut the wire on the driver side and will save the stuff if I ever sell it and someone wants the original belt.

In general:
  • Remove the Seats
  • Remove the air intake cover
  • Remove the middle saddle
  • Remove the plastic panels under each seat
  • Loosen the CVT vent
  • Cut the driver side seat belt wire and tuck it away
  • Install the seat belts and put it all back

How did you get to the belt roller above the gas tank?  Also, where the seat belts clip in, did you add to the existing bolts on the frame, or make new holes for the harnesses?

I used 14mm and 19mm combination wrenches to get the nut and washer off. It was too tight for a socket wrench. I was very careful not to drop anything. There was plenty of room on the bold to add the outer lap belt anchor.

For the inner anchor I  just slipped it under the existing seat belt socket and used the original bolt.

got my 4 point harness installed today, didn't really have that hard time getting bolts out for the retractable part on sides, I used a 14 mm and 3/4 sense I didn't have 19 mm, those came out easy for me, the center once also came out but dropped nut of one, but getting them back on the new harness was a bugger, I ended up pulling the tray under seat on driver side so could get my hand under there to hold bottom nut. all in all was not that difficult.

Now I do have a question on the seat belt sensor, I cut the wires , black and red, turned on ignition and  seat belt indicator was on, so hooked both wires together, still on, start it where it runs and seat belt light is off, with wires hooked together or not, test drove it and it didn't set rev limiter, so looked at my repair manual it show a black/green wire with normally open circuit, I'm confused now what is it wires connected together or not, didn't make any difference, light goes out when engine runs, but with only ignition on seat belt light is on .

I am pretty sure with the wires cut I see the same. Ignition on only, seat belt indicator on. Engine running the indicator goes off after a second.
