So been chasing a issue with my z8 for 2 months now it's 2015 with close to 700 miles on it. Left lower corner of dash cluster is a oil can  an it flashes all the time since about 350 miles tried new oil sensor still flashes any ideas I tried grounding it out and another light comes on in top left corner . Thought it was oil change maintenance  light but dealer says no  really getting flustered

It is the maintenance light...lol. Just do the reset. Mine came on at about 350 miles too, did the reset and it went away...at least until it's time again.

Here is the procedure if you don't have it:

Flashing oil canleft lower corner dealer had on computer an tried to reset with no luck I tried the reset also they said it was a faulty  sensor

Lol easy fix...I'm sure  resetting will clear it.

Then your dealer is an idiot. There is no sensor for an internally triggered or programed event. To reset, Key off, Hold BOTH buttons in while turning key on, then release buttons. If that doesn't work, you have a faulty pod.
