Stop on trail. No power to starter. 15 amp fuse (head) blew. replace with 20 amp engine turned over but would not start. Pulled fuse as it was getting hot. Any ideas. 2016 Zforce 53

Probably the starter. I would pull it, take it apart and inspect it. Many have found no lube and failed bearings leading to contact between the field and armature windings. Otherwise test the solenoid. My starter makes noise in cold weather. May be a winter project for me.
