I'm purchasing here in Canada a new 2021 Zforce 800 ex and was wondering is the extended warranty worth getting? I understand the base warranty is 5 year or 5000km which ever comes first with the first year covering bumper to bumper, the remaining 4 is powertrain. The extended is the 5 year bumper to bumper with unlimited mileage, no deductible, and after the 5 years if there are no claims, you get a refund. $2900 plus taxes is the value of the warranty. This purchase is a cash out deal, no financing so the extra $3000+ on top is a little harder to swallow. Are these machines needing the extra coverage??? I'm a licenced mechanic for 26 years so doing my own repairs is no big deal, I'm not scared of the labour. I'm not a mudder, smasher, I like my stuff shiny and in "new" shape so abuse isn't going to be an issue. All salesman are good at putting fear in ya for the extra $$$. What repairs are common on these units? Thanks.
