At last I can do a trailside belt change in spite of CF Moto engineers not leaving enough space between the case and secondary clutch.

Nice. Hadn't thought about an impact. Just thought I would have to bring my spanners and torque wrench...and other small tools.

We never leave camp without it. We travel light and tight but have everything we need to get home.

It's great to have the all the tools that you need with you.
Do you carry a compression tool for the secondary clutch?
What if the belt gets. Destroyed and decides to get wrapped up in the secondary.
Without snappering tool and compression tool you will never get that secondary clutch apart

Haven't had to do it yet. Hopefully never will but I'm sure we'll come up with something.

You stop talking like that, please. :)  No, no compression tool. There's a degree of preparedness that I'm just not willing to go beyond. Hahaha

Glenlivet,
Lol, I have to talk like that.
At 1800 miles I blew a belt and it was wrapped up underneath the sheaves in the secondary.
But I also carry two good tow straps.
That's a hell of a push from 17 mi out in the woods.
Rot.
