the "bracket/holder" on the bike is too wide for the holes in my license plate....    anyone else have this experience and how did you work around it?

Australian plates are too small as well, so I just put an alloy plate behind the number plate to match the holes in the holder and the plate.

SOLVED.   I bought a 1/4" drill bit and drilled holes outside of the pre-drilled holes on the license plate.  Boom done!!!!
