New owner in Illinois

Just bought this yesterday to replace my Svartpilen 401.  Looking forward to putting some miles on and enjoying the new bike.  I removed the warning stickers, reflectors and the tank badges to clean things up a bit.  2 little holes in the sides of the tank where the badges adhere, so I may get a "700" decal of some sort to go over those.

Got 1000 miles on the bike now.  1st service done at 700 miles with no issues reported.  Runs really well, and loving every mile on it.  Sounds great to me with stock exhaust and cat.  I'd be a bit concerned about it running too lean if removing the cat unless a tune is done.  It lives in Sport mode 95% of the time, and Eco only for slow speeds in a neighborhood or stop and go type scenarios where Eco is easier to be smooth with the throttle.  I bought a couple of saddle bags from AliExpress for extra storage, added a Screaming Banshee Mini horn, a kick stand foot, and USA flags for the tank to cover up the holes from the old logo.

Quirks that I find to be acceptable, but worth noting:
-Time zone reverts to China after setting multiple times, or 13 hours difference from me in Illinois for the clock. Basically an hour ahead and AM/PM is reversed, so easy enough to realize the difference when checking the time.
-Fuel economy is better than what the gauge shows.  For example, 5.8L/100km for my last tank average on the gauge should be around 41 mpg, but manually calculating what I use gives me 48 mpg when comparing the fuel I added to the miles I traveled.
-Can't get the coolant temp to show in F, so I've learned that 75-95C (167 to 203F) is what it's typically showing when warmed up.
-Self cancelling turn signals sometimes shut off early when approaching an intersection and need to be turned on again.  Not a big deal to hit it again, but something to be aware of.
-Had a noisy vibration from the carbon speedometer cover that I fixed with some double sided adhesive 3M foam tape.
