Bikes on showroom all missing panniers, (Hard saddle cases). I asked salesperson if they came with them and he said "NO".

Brochure says they do. What say anybody here? Trading in z900.

If you have something that states the US models come with them, then I would show that to the dealer. Do know that comes with CFMs abroad is always different then in the US. Why?....I do not know or understand.

Well I picked it up today. First impressions.... It was very different from the z900. Aside from all the controls being in a slightly different location it went well. I could go on all day for the differences but nobody cares. The view in mirrors slightly better, the clutch engaged a little closer to the grip. It was more particular about which gear it was in. Two most important things is yes it did come with panniers. All the adventuras in the showroom had the panniers on. Which was great. I think it was a little underfilled with oil as the manual says the oil should be checked on the sidestand and otherwise level ground.  The oil only showed up in the window when the bike was lifted off the sidestand to a full upright position. Oh and the display does not work with polarized sunglasses at all. I thought it was broken for a minute. I sure don't remember the z900 having that problem but most of my sunglasses are not polarized.

I have noticed my legs are getting more warm air than on my z900. I've noticed my temperature gauge reads a little high(ish) on the display. Maybe I can change it to display in degrees as other people have mentioned actual readings of temp. Non of this seems too extreme or anything. If I lived in Canada it may even be beneficial.  LOL
