Any one else have an issue with heat blowing on your bits? After 30 minutes the bike is uncomfortable.

I hadn't noticed this until today while riding I moved my hand down there and noticed some warm air moving around. I Haven't ridden more than 10 minutes so it hadn't really bothered me. I have noticed a bit more warm air down on my lower legs. I hope the warm air will extend my riding into the winter a bit longer. My V-strom 650 had a bad habit of lifting my shirt up my torso. I was always trying to tuck my shirt in while riding down the road.

I have a 2008 DL650 Vstrom. Heat got a bit annoying (feet) after lots of slow speed practice but this bike takes it to another level. It blows through the top where the tft is and is especially bad through the seat. You can feel it on your legs and inner thighs.

I removed the lower fairings and it improved the situation. Quality control of the fairing and assembly is shit. There was double sided valcro used to hold fairing onto the tank, handmade cuts and fiting to make them fit. Cheap screws galore.

Starting to regret getting this thing for 2 more k I could have gotten a Honda 500x (wait would have sucked)

I seriously think the rad on this thing is really not good enough.

I was trying to find a CB500x also. Could not find one within 500 miles. I didn't sit on it.

Do you have a problem with the heat? Go under 40kph /32mph after 10 minutes this thing heats up. Not bad on highway but city commuting is unbearable. I am starting to regret buying this Chinese clap trap.

Just picked up mine yesterday. I had read that the engine gets warm. It was 100 degrees yesterday and any bike would feel hot. I took my first ride in shorts and yeah, it got warm. I'll see what it feels like wearing pants.

I just got a new 650 adventura 8/26/22. I returned it 8/27/22 and told them it was so hot it made me feel sick. The air blows up your legs and on to you stomach. The air is well above 100F. WTH were they thinking. At high speed it is bearable, at anything lower than 55 mph it suxs. I would rather just not ride the thing. It is 2022 I would expect these problems would be in the past. I guess not!

Dealer didn't want to take it back.
CFMoto support is trash in Canada.

Any way I still have it but I am not a fan of this thing.

The price wasn't worth it.

It also appears that the stock coolant is just garbage as well. So I am purging out the coolant
I am going to switch to a heavier oil. 10W40 recommended is to light for these temperatures, routinely it was 32+ C here and the bike was just not rideable. Going to switch to 10W50 or 20W50, most likely 20W50.

Also I am taking the faring to a industrial plastic place and they will make some deflectors for me on a bunch of templates that I had made.

Somedood,
Ever resolve your heating issues with different oil or the addition of deflectors?

Yeah, it gets warm. I don't ride in shorts except maybe around the block. I guess after 5K miles I'm just used to it.
