Should be able to get the OE from these guys. I think that is a modification to the blower unit though:

No idea why they did that. You will need the housing and the duct. The duct will blow air over the exhaust. Not sure why they added the blower but it does make some interesting noises when under water. Spray wd40 on the back of the screws before taking it off. The inserts are just brass molded into the plastic and will spin out pretty easy.

You can get a new one from the link however the new one has an opening there where they cobbled am intake line on probably because they took it under water and that's a fan....that doesn't like being under water much. Not a bad idea except it needed a larger intake for the fan. Yeah, that line wasn't originally there.

On the new one there is a drain hole in it. As long as it's not muck, it will drain out. The cvt intake is between the cab and box right behind the drivers seat. The exhaust is behind the muffler. The air intake is between the seats pointing back. If you get water down these, you will have problems. Snorkels can be done but there is more to it than just running some pipe. Best advice, stay out of the deep water and mud unless you like fixing things. This goes for all atvs. Mud=money

It's already snorkeled I just have to redo the snorkels bc some are worping n letting water in the belt box, so I was just seeing if I should replace it or leave it alone.

It might be OK, Check the end of the duct and see if it is still blowing air good. The guy before you sealed the vents and it looks like there is a tube attached to pull air in from higher up somewhere. Most I can tell, the fan is blowing air across the muffler to keep the heat down under the box. If you made some decent heat shields to do the same thing, you may not even need the fan. If this engine was in the X6, the recoil would be there instead of the fan. If you are keeping this setup, find the vent hoses for the diffs and make sure they are up high too. Go through and hit all the harnesses with electrial grease as well.

Hi, If I was you, I will let it as it is. That fan is connected to the gearbox, once underwater place a lot of unncessary resistance...Indeed I will take the idea, but with a bigger diameter hose

BsRgds
