I am currently working on swapping my roctanes, 8 ply HEAVY tires to Bighorn 2.0 6 ply. I will be reducing the rear tire weight by 4.1 lbs per tire. The front tire weight will drop by 5.3 lbs. However I will be going from 27 in tall to 28 in tall. I am wondering what to expect from this swap. Height vs weight. I am currently clocked at C1 with 23 gm slidders. Any thoughts are appreciated.

The speedometer will be off a little but we talked about how to fix that in another thread. There is probably more plusses in the weight reduction then the size increase's negatives so my guess is you will feel more power and won't need to change any clutch settings. I think your 600 is going to thank you...lol

Now the other big question will be...will you be happy with the Bighorns. They will behave differently then the roctanes. Most people.. do like them. :)

Well they definitely can't be as bad as the factory tires. I know the roctanes are sturdy, heavy duty, almost bulletproof tires. However just the weight alone is definitely kicking this little Z600 butt. I do hope that the bighorns work for the all the type of riding I do generally mountains and stuff. Thanks for the feedback......😀
