The linkage is adjustable however is that really the problem. Will it go into low with the engine off? How are the detents lining-up?

Mine doesn't like to go into park or sometimes low if it is at a dead stop. It helps if it is rolling ever so slightly for me, shifts in easier.  Not a fan of the shifting on these things its really sloppy

My 2012 doesn't have a park position and my emergency brake sucks. I often have times where I need to rock the machine back and forth to get the shifter to move, not too much of a problem for my 230lb frame but it is for my wife when she is by herself, the dealer tells me that is the way they are, we have one dealer in the country and there are no other owners near me to compare notes with, I am so glad I found this forum.

I have some info on this in the resolving issues tread. The shifter it's self sucks. Should be one of the first treads. You can adjust it. Pull the cover off the parking brake and loosen the jam nuts on the rod. Turn the center section to make it longer or shorter, than tighten the jam nuts when done. It's left and right hand threads on each side.
