Hello I have a 2013 zforce 600, came back from riding and the machine felt like it wasnt pulling right, jerking like when giving it gas. I looked under it and found that the rear diff mounting bracket weld was broke,( after I jacked it up and put it in gear with someone helping) how do I get the skid plate off, or is there a way? and will I have to replace the plate, the shop wants 150.00 just for me to bring it in to look, I know it needs a weld, but cant get to it. Any suggestions? thanks

I haven't seen it on a 600 but on the 800s when a mount breaks most are removing the diff/gear case to repair it.

I cant figure out how to even get to the mount to weld it. And that means removing the skid plate, and not sure how to even start with that. I tried looking for replacement skid plates, but it shows buying the whole undercarriage, ugggg this is so complicated.

Well, it's either bolted on or welded on. One's a little easier then the other.

Bolted with 6mm bolts from below. Pull the long mount bolt/bolts out and you should be able to get it out. My guess it that the bolts broke as they are too long and bottom out inside the bracket.

Hi I just did mine on a 2012 600 I removed the plate and had to weld to new nuts inside that plate. I had the remove the lower a arm to get the diff blots out to lift up the diff to get plate out.
