I have a 2013 z force 600 ex. The air filter box has been modified and no longer has the plastic cage that holds the filter.the air filter now just clamps on the intake. On the 2013 The air filter is not sideways in the box, it is front to back.what is the he best way to get to the clamp to tighten it?

Welcome. We probably need to see this mod to understand it so get a few posts then upload a few photos not too large. Usually slipping a filter flange over a nipple and tightening-down the clamp is pretty straight forward but something says yours has a..special need.
