Hello, I am currently rebuilding a 2013 snyper 600 engine.
I have a question about the gear clutch outside the engine block. My question is it normal that I am able to go to the end of my teeth on one side only? (see photo to understand). I feel 3 gears when I manually engage. Thank you for your help.

I believe that dot is supposed to be pointing at the center of the other shaft. From the angle the photo is taken it looks like it's off a tooth.

I'm not sure I understand... I know I'm off by a tooth in the photo. But I tried a lot of patterns. I closed the engine block. I want to be sure that I am correct before going too far.

Too bad it's closed up. Could have posted a straight-on shot and I could have shown you. Good luck.

I can always reopen my engine even if I believe that inside everything is correct and installed the final shifter before closing.
