Will that lower surface require seal grease?

The lower lip goes around a cage. Then the tab on the filter box holds it flush against the intake port.

I got lucky and my local dealer has the right UNI filter in stock. Will pick it up on Thursday.

Thanks smdd, once I had one number it is easy to find a filter that will work.

Look for one that fits the Suzuki Vinson 500 and you will be fine.

Hi all

Just Received today my HIFLO Filtro P/N HFF3022. Nice one but looks to me a little short for the Z6 Air Filter support. How I am traveling I could not test it yet. Anyone using could share how it goes?

Was making a little more of Research and I found another alternative from UNI:

PN NU-2487ST (Yellow) instead of NU-2483ST (Red)

Has anyone tryed that filter?

I used one. It's a bit tight but will fit. Poke the cage tip through and wrap the filter around the base.

I'm using the red.... works great so far. I keep the factory one oiled in a bag with me just in case.
