Ive seen a post on here about a z6 shock upgrade using polaris 800 shocks. I have a 2011 cf moto z6 itried to adjust to get more ride height and cam lock broke. I seen where rzr 800 shocks will work so i took my bottom shock bolt out jacked up the frame and i gained about 7/8" from shock eyelet to eyelet. It appears my rear shocks are 16 7/8" eye to eye and rzr 800 shocks are 18 3/8" eye to eye. Well if i only gained 7/8" how can i put a shock on 1 1/2" longer. Do i need to take sway bar links out to allow it to drop, do i need to compress the shock to install it. Need help figuring out how did anyone install these. Also were there any problems during or once i install rzr 800 shocks on the z6 like cv joints, cv joints bottoming out, brake line relocation, rearend/wheel bearing issues. Anything that i need to know about the swap, how to install, problems or not please gove mecall the instruction and advice you can

I'll look for that post...and I think I remember seeing it. In the meantime to install you probably will have to use some straps to compress them enough to get them in. And I don't think removing the sway bar will allow it to drop any farther but try...it's easy enough to take one side loose. Also, know that running any CV joint at.. or near max deflection will take it out over time...that's just fact. Hopefully yopu get a little "sag" or movement when the weight is back on them.
