« on: February 02, 2021, 10:47:35 AM »
Hi all just want to pick ya brains plz
I have a c force 450s with power steering which has picked up some slight play within the steering my question is is the play likely to be within the power steering unit or the lower spline as i can’t feel play in the upper spline of the  power unit.
Thanks in advance mike

So I have a 2020 Cforce 450L with no power steering.  It did too had some slight play on the steering that appeared after only a few miles and because my machine is pretty new I discarded wear on the tie rods, bushings or any other parts.  Finally decided to dig deep, removed the front tires and after taking all the plastic covers and really getting into the gusts of the machine I discover that both bolts that hold the steering column in place on the chasis where loose.  Those nuts are at the bottom right by where the tie rods attach to the steering column.  Space is very limited yet it is possible to tighten them with a couple of spanners. An easy yet time consuming job.  Now my machine has zero play and it feels sooooo much better.
Hope you have a similar easy to fix problem and keep us posted.
