Since I bought this 400 in 2017 I've always hated its suspension.
There's hardly any suspension qualities to it, actually. Even with large obstacles the shocks hardly move. I've got the preload set to the softest setting. Seeing my buddies CanAm and Polaris comparable models that ride soft and steady is frustrating.
Do you 400 owners have the same experience?

Outlander 570 shocks are the same length and have the same mounting so I'm considering purchasing a wrecked machines shocks to try out. I can get front and back for less than $300 and they are easy to swap out it looks like.

What do you think?

Heck go for it. Most all CFM shocks and springs suck. Anything is an improvement....IMO.

C firce 800 yit adjustable shocks work nice on 450.
It is now polaris 570 soft.

I've heard the 600 + 800 have much better suspension. Not even comparable.

I guess we'll see how it goes.
