Hello ya'll.   The red button for my 4wd broke off.  If I stuck the button back in the "boot" I could push it and still turn the 4wd on and off.  Well....  my husband took my 4wheeler out to scout for elk and completely forgot what I had told him about the red button.  He flipped the black lever and pushed the yellow button and drove with it all day like that thinking he was in 4wd.  Now my 4wd isn't turning on at all.   

Do ya'll think the switch burned out or did he break something else by running with the diff locked all day?  I don't hear the usual sounds when I try to turn on the 4wd with the red button.

Possible. But I would replace the switch first as it needs to be anyway and check the fuses. If it still doesn't work I would test and/or replace the actuator.

No in-line fuses. It will be with.. or a part of the distribution fuses in the fuse box.
