CF Moto 450s bleeding problem
« on: January 29, 2017, 07:46:10 AM »
This summer my hidraulic pipe broke down on me, so I replaced it put it brake fluid and started to bleed it. The rear brake got some resistance after some taping so I went to release the air on all 4 of the valves, so here comes the problem I'm pushing the hand brake and doesn't get any resistance... Please help.

Open the bleeder on the front and let the fluid flow, but keep watching the resivor so it doesn't pull air, next the other side.
Then pull hand brake in about 1 inch and let snap back open while watching in red, you may see some residual bubbles coming out. If not give it 4 full pumps, and you should have pressure. Bleed 1 more time on each side doing a half bleed, just crack the bleeder and apply enough squeeze untill starts to leak out then close. And you should be set. They are a pain in the a$$.the 400 love a couple pumps now and then to build pressure
If it has Pistons or Tits you will encounter problems.

I opened the reservoir of the hand brake and when I press on the brake appears some small bubbles but in the other reservoir when I press the rear brake the fluid jumps out of it. I will try tomorrow thx for the help if u can find a video or something to watch it'll be awesome because I can't fully understand what u said. I'm from Romania and don't understand mechanically terms.

Ok, I thought you would see small bubbles, keep pulling in on the hand brake , then let it snap back till bubbles stop.
It takes 5-10 min to get it out.
Keep going on the rear sounds like some air still in there.
If it has Pistons or Tits you will encounter problems.
