Zforce 1000 2018 no power
« on: January 02, 2024, 10:26:28 AM »
Hello everyone! I was on a ride on the trails with my 2018 zforce 1000, and right after a downhill, the engine stopped, and i get no power to the dashboard.
The battery is perfectly fine, the 30A fuse under the driver's seat is fine, all the relays in the fuse box are fine, but i get no power to the ignition switch.
When i pull out and then put back again the 30A fuse, the dashboard beeps, but it won't turn on.
The ignition switch works just fine, just that it doesn't get any power.
Does anyone have even the slightest idea what might be the problem? Thanks!

CFM had a problem with the 2017-2019s main fuse holder..not the fuse..the holder..in that some internal crimps were not made right and would  break connection inside. Probe the wires. If there is a problem the incoming from the battery will be fine bit the outgoing to the system will be either none or very much lower. Turn the key on and the headlights before doing this to ensure there is a load on the bad connection. If both are the same look down-stream for a problem. Also check all the battery connections and the grounds.

Thank you for your answer! When talking about the main fuse, you reffer to the 30A one, right? If so, i checked the holder with a multimeter, and i do get power from one wire to the other. Also, i checked the ground under the driver's seat, and i do have continuity

Yes, the main 30 amp. You shouldn't get power reading from one wire to the other as they both should have the same 12 volts on them. It would be like putting both probes on the same wire. Sense you do it means the connection is broken between the two somewhere and there is a problem inside as I said. Clip the ground lead to the battery ground or the frame and test each lead with the positive probe through the isolation with the key on and headlights. Oh and be sure the fuse is installed.
