I was out looking at new side x sides friday and was surprised that the z1000 here in the lakes region of NH was over 15 k and the razor 1000 was only 800 more ..  .. Maybe Cfmoto catching up to polaris in price or polaris dropping to compete with cfmoto..  That was only one dealer i was at but was surprised to see the little difference in price

Is the Razor equipped the same? CF comes with a lot of stuff.

No not at all but last year it was 3k difference from z800 to a razor 900. It just seems the pricing is close to each other now that cfmoto has the 1000

I don’t understand why the Z1000 is so expensive. It’s the same machine as the ZForce 800 except the bigger engine.

A RZR 1000 is in an other category. Bigger, lot stronger engine and way better suspension.

Are we...sure they didn't do something with the rest of the drive train? I'm having trouble believing the 800's can handle much more then it does.

For me the ZForce 800 drivetrain is as strong as the Polaris, Arctic Cat and Can Am. All company have issues and I really think the CF is as solid as the others. If all bolts is keep tight, all seem as solid to the other side by side I ride with.  The 1000 have only +- 80 hp, not a lot more than an uncorked 800...
