Wireless Winch Controller Hookup
« on: June 20, 2021, 06:24:51 PM »
Hi

New CFMOTO owner. I have a 2019 ZForce 1000 and am really liking it so far. Only thing I'm not a big fan of is having to plug in the corded remote to use the winch, so I ordered a wireless controller. My question is where is the easiest / most accessible place to tie in the controller box? Four wires to connect, power +, power -, winch in and winch out. Thanks for any info anyone may be able to give.

All those except the ground are in the cable to that receiver on the dash. I connected mine to that cable on my Z and for it taking out the storage tray made it easy to get too all that. Not sure about the U's though. Still, you will want to keep the plug-in controller for emergency's so just tap into it.

Thanks NMKawierider. Your advice was right on the money. Just finished hooking it up and it works great.
