Seems ECU box is not as waterproof as it seems, does anyone know solution for extending it? Would like to move it to the roof. What type of connections do I need? OBD2?

Seems ECU box is not as waterproof as it seems, does anyone know solution for extending it? Would like to move it to the roof. What type of connections do I need? OBD2?

It won't be OBD2 and extending the sensor leads will change things like voltages, resistances..ect which will cause error coded. Many on other makes have just plasti-dipped the units and used a thin coat of RTV over the outside of the connectors to water proof them. Others have just RTVed the connections and over the areas that could leak.
