I just picked this beauty up yesterday and took it for the first run today.  I noticed this plastic pipe at some point and just wondering if this is how it's supposed to be, or if something is missing/fell off?  Looking at a parts diagram, it looks to be the air outlet pipe for the CVT fan, but seems like that would be an easy thing to fill with water if I got in too deep? Just curious about it before I give my dealer a call (which I need to do anyway because my passenger seat belt will not fasten).

Also since I've already made the thread, I found these two things under the seats when I went to adjust them, what the heck are they for?  One is like a net basket type of thing, similar to the cargo net, and the other is a strap that looks like it can be bolted somewhere and has the soft side of velcro on it, but not the hooked side.  Can't figure them out.

The first item is the air duct from the squirrel cage fan that is driven by the crankshaft coming off the magneto. There is a seal where a collar passes through so oil can’t get out and water can’t get it. There is a drain on the bottom of the fan housing so if water went in there it would drain right out.

The strap basket little thing is a battery cradle to make it easier to install/remove the battery. The dealer simply didn’t know or decided they would put the battery in the hard way without it.

The other little strap... not sure on that one.

Good to know about that duct, thank you!  I was a little worried, it didn't look right.  And about that strap,  I'm going out to look for a spot for it now.  It's got like a Riv-nut piece that must go somewhere, and a bolt to bolt the strap in.  There must be the other side of the velcro somewhere.
