Welcome. There is an override button but for..well..some of the previous years, it only effected the limiter for the diff-loc, not the reverse limiter. However, you can install an extra switch on the lead to the reverse sensor to stop the grounding of that circuit, fooling the ECM in thinking it is not in reverse when it is. You just won't have the reverse light on in the dash pod when the switch is open and in reverse. So, I am not sure if they changed this with the 1000 or not but...it's an easy fix if not. On the switch they do come with they are momentary so you have to hold it. I switched mine out tor one that stays on until I flip it off. Handy when hill climbing of when you need the diff-loc on as well as both hands on the wheel. Also an easy fix.

if the reverse button only work when you have difflock engaged you can remove the conection from the gerar sensor that tells the ecu you are in reverse youst before the ecu unit and still have the light in the dash and full thothle reverse. works om my 520 atv and I think it's work the same on a z force

On MY 2018 ZForce 1000, the rev limiter override for reverse only works when it's in diff-lock. If I'm in 2wd or 4wd the limiter kicks in and the override switch does nothing. Also, mine does not have a limiter with the seat belt off.  I've heard some have it and some don't.  Hope this helps friend!

Yeah..for my 2015 800 and I think its the same for all up to at least 2017..maybe newer, the override button only effects the diff-loc limiter and forward motion, not the reverse limiter which is in effect all the time.. no matter what you are in..2 or 4wd. I did fix that with mine by taking the ECU out of the loop. I have a vid in the How Tos on that. The 1000s are bound to be different but....there's always more then one way to skin a cat....lol
