Rode in the snow
« on: November 23, 2015, 08:15:26 AM »
We had 4 - 6" of snow this weekend so had fun riding on the farm.   Only problem was had some difficulties with throttle freezing and sticking.

Brr...My son and family is in Davenport. Don't miss the cold that's about to hit you guys...and all the snow.. but a little would be fun :) Here I have to head to the mountains to find snow.

So where was the throttle freezing at? The foot-feed or the throttle body?...or the cable in general.

I don't know because it fixed itself as I continued on.  I have not opened up the air cleaner yet to inspect it but plan to keep a close I on it for snow and dirt in the summer.

How do you like your window-setup?

I like the front window as it gives a lot of versatility for different conditions.

Nice to see you out in the snow. Not many places to ride here in sw mn in the winter. If the weather is right and not a ton of snow, the rivers freeze up and it is a blast to get out on them. If you are the first one through, you better bring a chainsaw. Not sure if this will happen this season, it's been very warm.
