Bought a 2018 U Force 800 and having the same low speed bucking as the rest of you, working with my dealer who is going to CF  Moto and then if no luck I will go at them myself as this is clearly a CF Moto problem that should be covered. will let you know what I find out.

Update--- CF Moto told my dealer that there was a fix being tested but no release date yet---- I called CF Moto and was told there is no fix in the works, that my machine was running as expected, NOT HAPPY with CF MOTO neither is my dealer!! New Z force ECU going in today, I will let you know the results. EVERY U Force owner with this problem should contact CF MOTO and demand a fix, they know there is a problem but will not admit it.

Yeah..it's all UForce ECU mapping. Should be an easy fix. Probably not flashable but still..just replace the ECU.

The z force ECU did the trick, problem solved. Now if CF MOTO would step up and stand behind thier product and admit they have a problem and fix it they might not hurt thier reputation which takes a long time to build. They need to act!

Does anyone know if this was fixed with the 2018 US models? I am seeing this problem with my 2018 but have also heard that the issues does not effect the 2018s. I am not sure if I should pick a fight with CFMoto over this or not?

If you have one of the earlier built 2018s you probably have a left-over 2017 ECU..yeah, I would take it in for sure anyway.

Just to let everyone know CFMOTO didn't fix the issue on the newer models I just purchased a 2021 UForce 800 last week (9/28/20) and I am having the same problem. Just wanted to clear it up for all you CFMoto owners that might be thinking about trading yours in for a newer model.

I have Uforce 800 2020 as well... There is a hesitation that I would say is dangerous.  Small application of throttle seems to go from nothing to everything very quickly.  In reverse it can be scary when you are trying to creep.

My first thought was maybe the throttle was over sensitive and needed an adjustment or even a clutch engagement problem.  Honestly, when I first experienced this my left foot was looking for a clutch petal to control this better.  CVTs are great, but to me a manual would give me more control of the mesh point.

Is this what people had experienced before they replaced the ECU?  Or is the ECU addressing an engine stall or bogging condition?

There were some issues with the UForce's ECUs. These issues made it hard to operate and those that had the problem got new ECUs. Check with your dealer.

I replaced the ECU/ECM with the Z8 unit also.  Part number 0800-174000-2000  - Z8.  It cost $375 with shipping. Huge improvement.
It runs like it should. no more stalling on acceleration runs smoother then before.

Hey.  BillZ.  when I go to the link below, it shows all of the parts as being Discontinued.  Hoping that was a website error, I called them and the phone number goes to a dead line then hangs up.

I guess my question to you is if that is how their site looked when you contacted them or if it looks like they've shuttered the business?

Does anyone know if an alternate source for the Z800 ECM?  I've had no luck so far.
