Plugs under seat?
« on: May 09, 2016, 09:35:08 PM »
I was taking some stuff apart to clean up after a ride and pulled the covers off the cavities under the driver seat. I assume the forward most cavity is for an extra battery so are these 2 plugs for a battery also?

One is the new main fuse and the other is the wench fuse. Both are water tight fuse holders. The main fuse box is next to the steering column on the right side. It slides over a post that holds it there.

Heck i have been looking for the fuse box by steering and have yet to find it.. do i have to pull the plastic off to expose it.. I must be blind cause i cant find the darn thing..My manual says its there  to ...lol

The newer ones have a plastic piece that covers the lower steering column that does have to come off. Then look on the right side just up from the pivot bolts and in slightly. It looks like a plug clipped to the framework there. Push up the slide it off the clip. It has micro fuses in it.
