I have 16 zforce 500 and it looks like a ba brake caliber or shock but cant tell which is leaking I assume the shock because the control arm is wet

Probably so... I wouldn't waste my money on a new one. I would just upgrade to a set of Elka Stage-1s or talk to Bandit UTV about a set. The CFM shocks are OK but the springs suck. Replacing the springs are cheap but the shock body is another story. If course buying one OE shock is the cheapest way to go but when one starts leaking...it won't be long until another....and another..
