My 12 volt dash socket is not working.  Is there a fuse for this?

Yes of course. With the rest of the distribution fuses.

make sure it isn't the item that you are plugging into the socket that is faulty. then it comes down to chasing wiring.

Mine has a bad connector just off from the harness about a foot from the fuse box...at least it has enough resistance to show a volt drop between each side...need to fix that someday...but maybe yours is .."real bad".

Ok, spent the day working on the Unit.  rechecked the fuse.  The fuse was good, but when I looked in the socket to plug it in again, I noticed one side was way down in the block so the fuse wasn't actually connecting.  Pushed it back up, put the fuse back in, and it works just fine!

Chalk another one up to those fine HQ CFM electrical parts...Glad you got it man. Just goes to show..you can't rule-out anything with these.
